Aloha Room 28!
Mahalo for sharing your ALOHA spirit with our kupuna on `Oahu. As I delivered the hot meal, dessert, juice and goodie-bag to the kupuna (elderly), they were all looking forward to receiving their annual place-mats and card! I told them many cards and place-mats were created with love by the fourth graders at Alvah Scott Elementary. Each year, they enjoy receiving these gifts from you....the "KEIKI" of our island! The looks on the faces and sincere appreciations were PRICELESS!
Much Aloha,
Mrs. Wong

First Grade Reading Buddies! With Mrs. Dugay's class...
Aloha Room 28 Bloggers!
I love it when you get excited to work with your "Reading Buddies!" You are learning so much from this experience! You are helping them in so many ways--applying good-reader strategies, decoding unfamiliar words, articulating, expressing themselves, writing, cutting, coloring, and so much more! You, as a reading buddy, are being excellent role models to them. They appreciate your friendship and your patience while helping them with their many projects. Keep up the great work, Room 28! I'm very proud of each and every one of you!
