"We Got Spirit......How 'bout YOU?"

Aloha Room 28 'Ohana!

Last week, it was our Student Council's Spirit Week!  It was a week of learning about oneself, others, and our school community!  It was a time to have fun, and a time to reflect.  It was a time to share and a time to listen.  Here are some of the memories we had created as a class during "Spirit Week!"
For this Blog comment (assignment), I would like for you to "comment" on the following:

In a complete sentence, please tell the class how many days did you participate in Spirit week?  Next, tell the class what your favorite Spirit Day activity was?  Why?  and finally, if you had the opportunity to add another day to Spirit Week, what event or activity would you create?

Enjoy the pictures of Spirit week!  You have 1 week to comment on this Blog.  You will have until February 7 to comment.
                                                                                          Aloha,
                                                                                          Mrs. Wong

  1. During spirit week I participated in all of the spirit week days. My favorite one was sports day (like most of the boys I'm guessing.) If I could make a spirit day it would be "Give a Gift Day," where everyone would buy a gift to at least one person.

  15. Aloha Students!
Wow! A lot of you voted for Sports Day and Wacky Wednesday as being the Top 2 favorite spirit days! Interesting to hear that some of you would have liked a "Twin Day" and a "Pajama Day"--both of which were in previous years' spirit weeks! I enjoyed the entire week, but if I had to choose my favorite one? It has to be cultural day! I enjoyed reading your tree maps about your family's culture! It was neat to find out that a lot of my students had European and Asian connections! I liked reading about your culture's tradition, food items, and even clothing! Thank you, Ceerena for sharing your delicious Gandule (Puerto Rican) Rice! Thank you, Kyla, Tiana, Savanah, Jahziah, and Cami as well! Mahalo to all of you who participated in at least 1 spirit day event! I would have loved 100% participation! Our Student Council did a great job of planning this for all of us! Be on the lookout for the NEXT Blog assignment!
    Much Aloha,
